
Yonto size Barrel
The “TO” (pronounced “toe” like the toe on your foot) is a measurement of sake volume equal to 18 Liters. “Yon” means four and Daru means “taru” or sake barrel. So a Yonto Daru is a sake barrel containing 4 “to” of sake – which is equal to 72 liters. This is the largest standard sake barrel size.
