
Temi or simply Mi, is a hand held rice scooper used in the koji room.
This is a large hand-held scoop used to transport rice around the koji room. Think of it like a snow shovel with no handle. Modern temi are made from food-safe plastics, but they were traditionally made from woven bamboo. Sometime casually referred to simply as a “Mi” (箕).
