Meet your Teacher

Timothy Sullivan is the Director of Education and lead instructor at the Sake Studies Center at Brooklyn Kura. He has over 16 years of experience teaching about sake and in 2007, he was awarded the prestigious title of Sake Samurai by the Japan Sake Brewers Association. Timothy brings a wealth of knowledge as well as practical brewing experience to the classroom. Whether for sake beginners or for industry professionals, Timothy strives to make all his classes and tasting fun and engaging.
